Competition description
For the third year we are pleased to host one of the Top 5 Summum circuit events. This competition consists of 5 events that take place throughout the Catalan territory. The national final will take place from 17 to 19 November at Melià Villaitana Golf Club.
It is one of the most renowned golf circuits on a national level.
Amateur players over 21, nationals or residents holding an R.F.E.G. licence will be able to participate in this event with the possibility of winning a prize.

Rules
Mode of Play
Stableford Individual Handicap
Handicap categories
1st Category: players with indistinct handicap up to 11,4
2nd Category: players with an indistinct handicap of 11,5 to 26,4
Participants with a handicap higher than 26.4 will be allowed to play with the maximum handicap of 26.4.
Distance Meters
The use of approved distance meters is permitted.
Registration
Registration will be accepted with a maximum of 21 days’ notice.
Withdrawals/ cancellation
A player may withdraw without penalty up to 48 hours before the event. This must be done by email to info@summumgolf.com.
No cancellations will be accepted by any other means (phone the golf club, via another player...).
Unjustified non-appearance in two Top5Summum tournaments will be grounds for expulsion.
Prizes and Draws
The two handicap champions, the scratch champion, and the best lady handicap winner of each of the five tournaments of the Top5Summum 2023 Circuit will receive a trophy and a prize.
The two handicap winners of each Top5Summum 2023 tournament will receive an invitation to play the Summum 2023 National Final, which will be held from the 17 to the 18 of November at Meliá Villaitana (Benidorm).
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the competition day and will be reserved for absent players.
In the event of a tie, the tie-breaking criteria set out in the RFEG rule book will be applied.
No gifts will be reserved for the prize draw to be held after the prize-giving ceremony.
If a prize winner is absent from the draw, the gift will be re-drawn among those attending.
Prizes cannot be accumulated. If the handicap winner is also scratch champion and/or best lady, these prizes will go to the second classified scratch and lady respectively.
All prizes (winners and draw) are personal and non-transferable and those consisting of trips or stays are subject to availability of the establishments and, unless otherwise indicated, have an expiry date of 6 months from the date on which they are awarded.
